…Make Room for Fall Fashion…

Wait, so we are in September now?! The way this year has flown by is insane! I barely wore any of my summer items considering I didn’t go anywhere, what a shame! The only good thing is the new season means a change in style and that’s always exciting! Let’s look at a few Fall trends for this year and with some links of where to find similar items.

Belted Blazer

Wearing a belt over your blazer is one of the trends this Fall. Some blazers already come with a belt, if not you can pair your blazer with any type of belt.

Colorful Checks

This pattern usually comes back every year, so you possibly already have something similar in your closet. All you need to do is pair it with some boots and you are set!

Patchwork

When I was looking up different trends for the Fall, I saw Patchwork as one of the choices. I wasn’t really feeling it initially if I am being honest. However, I saw this particular outfit in the picture and I loved it! I found the picture on Pinterest and I believe it is from the Reworks. But I am still not sure if it’s for me, maybe I need to actually try it on.

Knitted Vest

The Knitted Vest is definitely a staple item for our colder months! It is very easy to wear this vest with a shirt to have a casual look while wearing jeans or a more business look by wearing dress pants. Either way, this is great for Fall. It will keep you warm while you stay stylish!

Statement Sleeves

The Statement Sleeves or Puffy Sleeves have also made or should I say RE-made their appearance over the summer (we all know in fashion nothing is new, things keep coming back). I think this helps make a potentially dull outfit more interesting and fun! I am happy this is being transferred into Fall trends.

Fringing

Fringes!! I was about to say I don’t think I own one fring item but that’s a lie! I have a fringe bag that I have owned for years! This brings me to why I don’t throw out anything because fashion items always make a comeback! I like this shirt from Zara-the fringes are very subtle, otherwise I would look like I’m auditioning for a western movie.

Suit Skirt

I got my hands on a matching suit skirt a couple of months ago from a thrift store. It’s always so hard for me to go thrift shopping because I’m always wondering who wore the clothes before me etc. But if you get past all that, you can get some great outfits. Suit Skirts are very stylish, and will probably stick around even in winter. You can find these in a lot of different stores.

Monochrome Loungewear

Monochrome Loungewear is the one thing you are guaranteed to be wearing especially if there is a second wave and we are in quarantine again! Even if you can’t go anywhere at least you’ll be home, comfortable, safe and still stylish!

Leather Jackets

The next trendy item is the leather jackets or vests. Considering how pricey they can be there are also a lot of faux leather options that will do just fine. I love this look. It makes me think of the Matrix. The item in the picture is from Pretty Little Things!
